Heather Pearce has been involved with the Fleece & Fiber Show at the Estes Park Wool Market since 2003. Residing in the foothills west of Golden, Colorado, Heather lives on a working cattle ranch with her husband and two children. She has a deep passion for working with raw fleeces and spinning, which complements her professional role as the Wool Production Program Manager for the American Sheep Industry Association. ~~~ Laurel Stone, the shepherdess behind Apple Creek Merinos and self-proclaimed “wool evangelist,” has enjoyed a lifelong fascination with sheep, wool, and fiber arts. She has been raising a flock of white and natural colored merinos near Eugene, Oregon, since 2012. She enjoys bringing her sheep, fleeces, and farm products to local fiber festivals as well as competing at the national level.
