DESCRIPTION: Mosaic knitting is a colorwork technique that creates bold, geometric patterns using only one color per row. By combining simple knit and slip stitches, knitters can achieve striking two-color designs without carrying multiple yarns at once. In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of mosaic knitting, including how to read mosaic charts, manage slipped stitches, and maintain even tension. We’ll explore how color dominance works and practice creating clean edges and consistent patterns. This technique is ideal for knitters who want to try colorwork in a stress-free way.
