PREREQUISITE: Beginning spinning skills required. Students should be able to spin a continuous yarn and be comfortable with their wheel or e-spinner

STUDENTS TO BRING: Spinning wheel in good working condition and all its parts, lazy kate and 3 bobbins, wool hand cards, flickers, Viking or medium combs if you already own them
DESCRIPTION: Medium breed wools are the best! Not too long, not too short, they are just right!
Using fleece from some well-known breeders we will use carders, combs and flickers to prepare the locks and then spin woolen, worsted and the in betweens. We’ll also spin some medium wool braids. You will be delighted to know just how useful and versatile wool from these breeds can be.
